I'm currently litening to...

So, I finally got a chance to check out some of the local music scene this week and through a crazy series of links I ended up going to see Laura Gibson and loch lomond play at Holocene in NE Portland. The show was fantastic, the space was cool and i cant stop listening to the 3 songs on Laura's myspace page so i thought i'd try to share with my reading public something that has the ability to calm my soul. I've been figuring out how much I'm wired to respond emotionally and spiritually to music and this one hits the right frequency for me. Lemme know what you think.

All Great Truthiness...

So, i found this little article on google news about a company challenging sceintists to disprove their new technology that promises free, non-polluting energy. So i'm obviously skeptical since what they're promising breaks the "rules" of physics and all, but what if...?

Somehing wicked this way comes...

So, a thunder storm rolles in last night and makes the skies all wonky.
These pix havn't been altered at all. not even cropped. and they were taken within a minute of eachother looking oposite ways in my front yard. And then came the lightning!
I love lightning. Makes all these fireworks tonight seem like bubble wrap.

Q: How many republicans does it take to change a lightbulb?

A: It's not dark and why do you hate America?! Posted by Picasa
